HVAC Residential Service Technician, Geothermal Specialist Positions now available.  We are looking for quality people who want to be part of a team to provide outstanding service to our customers and can expertly service and/or repair residential heating/cooling, refrigeration, and ventilation systems. Job Title:         Residential Service Technician

Department:    Service

Reports to:      Service Manager

Work hours:    Day shift; Mon Fri, some evenings, weekends, overtime as needed, on-call rotation required

Pay Scale:       Up to $45.00 per hour, depending on experience + Spiffs + Full benefits package

Position Summary: To provide maintenance and repairs on a wide variety of residential heating and air conditioning, including geothermal systems according to company standards provide the customer with a high-quality experience. Provide feedback to Service Manager regarding technical training needs.

Required Qualifications:

  • STL County S Mechanical Licensing
  • 3+ years' experience as Journeyman Service Technician
  • Geothermal heating systems experience
  • Valid driver's license
  • Clean, insurable driving record
  • High school diploma or its equivalent
  • Demonstrate willingness to invest in tools used in the service of HVAC equipment
  • Demonstrate willingness to invest time in service training seminars and classes
  • Work from 28' extension ladder and 12' step ladder
  • Knowledge of basic sheet metal practices
  • Meet all the qualifications and have all tools required including ability to demonstrate working knowledge of daily, weekly, monthly skills noted below.
  • Understand and communicate benefits of preventable maintenance.
  • Demonstrate advanced customer service skills and can communicate clearly, ideas and explanations of problems to residential customers and coworkers.
  • Demonstrate willingness to accepts responsibility
  • Operate scissors and genie lift in safe manner
  • Demonstrate willingness to accept responsibility and leadership roles

Qualifications desired:

  • Universal EPA Certification
  • Certificate of completion from a HVAC Technical School 
  • Possess tools needed
